Chicken Ranch Casino Resort Ground Breaking Ceremony
With the Chicken Ranch Rancheria of Me-Wuk Indians of California Tribe, recently WORTHGROUP Architects & Designers had the honor of attending the Groundbreaking Ceremony for the new Chicken Ranch Casino Resort. Gathering to celebrate their past, present and future, this event embodied the culture and the spirit of the Tribe in a most genuine way.
The Ceremony was held on the site of the new Resort which is slated to open in late 2023. As with all WORTHGROUP projects, and no two being alike, this distinctive project has a story to be told, and you sure do not want to miss out on the details as they are unveiled.
This ground-up property is located on a mountain side near the Casino’s current location, and will be the very first of its kind in the area with unparalleled views of the picturesque landscape. The new Resort will showcase a 190 key 9-story hotel, a 9,600 sqft. Conference Center, and many world-class resort-style amenities attracting local guests and travelers alike, while becoming the premier destination in the region for leisurely travel and corporate events. While construction takes place, the current Chicken Ranch Casino will still be in operations and available for guests and travelers.
One of the many meaningful components of this project is the utilization of the site, creatively weaving the overall design with the land, rather than against it, resulting in a Casino Resort that truly blends harmoniously with the landscape, communicating the spirit and vision of the Tribe, for generations to come.
